been ages since i've posted...
to think this is gonna be my last few months in school.. dun wanna end!!! dun wanna graduate! haha. some may think it's silly.. but meh, im weird like that. school life = easy life.. dun needa think much n get to have soooo many breaks..
back in singapore at the moment. how is it? good but hot n sweaty.. n the air here sucks.. seems more polluted than ever.. n since mum's here.. stuck studying too! haiz... all coz TEE's in a few months... more like.. 4 weeks or something silly like tt..
went to jurong library to study today. dunno why but cannot seem to concentrate. haha.. seems like i've gotten too used to studying with justine beside me :D keep wanting to do other stuff besides studying
wells... rossmoyne atmosphere has been bad recently, shocked with the sudden passing of minty. everyone's super emo. he was such a nice guy too! this sudden event made me reflect upon life too! makes me sound like some old man though.. haha.. oh how short life is.. like a blade of grass, we are here one day and gone the next. makes me glad that i've found a friends to help me through the tough times.
first week of holis has been gd i guess. went out to play mahjong alot. wasnt the overall loser at all so it was GD!:D. also went to watch UP! wif trieu, angela, justine and fei. then went over to justine's to settle leavers stuff.. UP! was nice.. pixar = good. leave me and my cutesified cartoons alone and u have one happy joel.
pictures of mahjong on facebook when we went over to alvin's to play mahjong, after which we played wif lanterns! woot! been super long since we played wif lanterns. haha.. was scared about some of the lanterns burning down the tree coz the candles in them were a bit wobbly.. cool thing was that we discovered the camera in the iphone's pretty good at night.

realized ive been pronouncing cucumber as CHEW-cumber instead of q-cumber... 17 yrs of my life n NO ONE in my family has bothered to correct me. haiz...
n for everyone else who is super slow... justine n i r NOT going out.. no matter the rumours, we r not n we didnt break up for each other... it was juz all pretend n wasnt meant to spill over to so many people. intended targets were juz our grp.
week 3 of school now.. only round 7 more weeks of high school life left... sads.. dun wanna leave school!!

yoyo.. long time no post, hope everyone's well
juz got home from transformers... was SUPER DUPER AWESOME!!!! so very tempted to watch it again. haha. yup.. it was juz tt awesome. movie started at 4 but doors opened at 3.45. being typical asians, there was a line outside the door at bout 3.20ish when we arrived. my sister actually started queuing at 3. this is how far we'd go 4 a movie. haha... how horrible though, tt we'd show up 1 hr early 4 church but its acceptable to b late 4 church.
adrian's iphone came to the rescue when we got lost. silly me printed the wrong thing from google maps. keyed in the wrong address. haha.. so ended up in some residential area. if not we'd have been there bout 3.15!! n also being typical asians, many many seats were booked with random little things like bags n jackets. thank goodness no one tried to use tissues man. if not we'll juz blow it off. so ended up havin to sit at the side. not too bad though.
happy happy unexpected news: I GOT A C 4 CALC!! woot!!! its an asian fail but its still a pass 4 me! n to top it all off, i havent even passed a single test in sem 1! so blessed man!! prayer works. haha none of the tests were 50% n finally passed my first calc test for the whole yr this week by 1 mark!! :) happy now. a lot of near hits n near misses though. missed out on an A for econs by 1%, got C for calc and eng by 1%.
n also me likes the camaro very very much. I WANT A POWERFUL CAR!!! it doesnt have to transform or anything but juz something wif a bit more power than the nissan pulsar we have atm. dun even have to b a lambo. juz a gtr would b fine. haha.. something with like at least a 2.4L. even tts not a very lot.
lastly, we have the sad news of the death of michael jackson. no matter wad everyone thinks, he's still awesome to me. not tt i'll cry or anything but i believe he was juz a nice guy tt was taken advantage of. his music shall live on forever! who can forget beat it, or ABC? somehow, i juz had this thing in my mind where he was immortal. he would come close to death but b reconstructed or something. juz nvr dead. RIP micheal, ur music shall live on, not those trashy generic pop stuff nowadays.

juz came back frm 1 weekend. basically our church went out into the streets n knocked on doors to ask if they wanted help wif cleaning their gardens n driveways. first door we knocked on, a guy appeared at the door wif juz his underwear on. wad a way to start the day!! haha
went out thurs nite to go do exo sponsorship so a lot of "hi im from rossmoyne senior high n looking 4 sponsorship 4 an event". in return we got a lot of, " our company is located in the eastern states so we'll have to fax it to the head office there" which is short for " no we wun help ur cause" n more " sorry we dun need anymore staff at the moment" frm pple who cant really be bothered listening to us. juz coz we rock up in school uniform n a stack of papers in our hands dun mean we're looking for a job. had nandos n dreamy(yum) donuts 4 dinner coz we couldnt be bothered going far for dinner. think im the definition of a black hole. n also the fact tt sam had a curfew helped. think im the definition of a black hole. everyone else was really full... but i still wanted more.. :( also learnt how to jumpstart a car. n also about the miracle of facebook.
seeing as it was raining heavily in the morning so i decided to turn on my lights. juz i kinda forgot to turn it off when i reached school coz it was bright n sunny. so at the end of the day, went to car n tried to open boot but it wouldnt open. then realised nothing else works except the driver's door. so ran around school, found lots of teachers who couldnt help us coz their cars r expensive n have funky computer chips in them so if u use it to jump the car, it'll fry theirs. finally after bout 30 min or maybe even an hr, we managed to find mr ferrarra(duno how to spell but tt's how it sounds kk!! im not making it up) so he helped us wif his super old 1980s looking car :)

fast forward to the nxt day, which had lots of "i heard wad happened to ur car". silly sam put it on as her fb status. n now the radio doesnt work coz it screwed up. the display showed code at first. we put the wrong thing n now it ends up wif "err". its meant to go back to code but its nt doing it. anyone noe how to fix it? planning to disconnect the batt later to c if it restarts the system. any bright sparks got any bright ideas??

looks gd eh?? well.. our church booked out an entire cinema to view transformers.
