Little girl is asked to complete an exercise on a booklet. It's a page filled with grids; in some were sequential numbers, some had blanks and others had circles where the child was required to fill in the correct number

The task was to fill in the circles but the smart little girl went ahead and filled them all, even the blanks. A colleague happened to walk by and asked the girl to erase the filled in blanks

Colleague : Are these circles?

Girl: No

Colleague : Then rub them out ok?

* A little while later*

Girl walks up with the completed work for the aforementioned colleague for marking. The girl, instead of erasing the numbers, decided to circle them instead

Man.... if only i was tt awesome as a little kid

Man... I can't believe I'm turning 18 in juz 3 days

And I now have 2 jobs... One teaching Kumon( yes I noe, wad kinda ridiculous role model is he.. n gd at math!??!? BAHAHAHA) and another selling phonecards.. Starting that on wed but its gonna b crazy long hours... 10-5

Then theres another job which is helping out at my aunty's lottery store which is paying squat atm.. 5 dollar scratchie a day? But tts coz i take it myself though.. Sucks coz i havent won much... scratched like.. 7 and only won 8 bucks...

And last night, Justine n I decided to park at maccas and walk to utopia in myaree so we could burn off some of the bblt we were about to drink. Little did we know we were about to help out some dude who ran out of petrol. His car died not far frm the carpark so we started pushing it... A bit more exercise than we intended. Empty sheep transporter thingos came ridiculously close and looked like we were gnna crash 4 a moment.. Scary stuffs..

was super long ago. it was a nice sunny day when we set off to Dunsbourough, a 4 hr straight drive? but we stopped a few times along the way.

Sandboarding at Lancelin with Youth

Basically we decided to get out of Perth as a youth group n so the wonderful youth leaders drove us down to Lancelin for some hot, sandy fun

About 1.5 hrs drive down and we were finally there.. Rented some boards frm a random shop in the tiny town of Lancelin slid for an hr. Super Tiring!!! Going down the hill was fun but the task of climbing a steep sandy hill with no solid ground = difficult..

Twas gd exercise though.. and coz of the many many hrs spent in the sun due to the Lancelin trip and Leavers trip, I got super duper dark...

Caroling with the Youth Group

So few days b4 Christmas, our church organsied a caroling session where we went out to knock on doors and play for the people living in Karawara.. We ended up joining with some of the young family people. So off we went with a big bunch of people. Musicians included Me with my Clara(guitar), Joel Chan with Ben's guitar and Sam with his violin. Played for 5 houses, which wasnt bad seeing as other groups played for 2 or 3... So the way back to the meeting place, we juz belted out Christmas tunes in the mosquito filled night..

Sometime in the holidays went to watch Avatar with Justine and Senny coz he was going off to Cambodia for a missions trip the next day. not 3d though so :( . graphics were really really pweety

Storyline super simple though... Dun wanna spoil anything for anyone. U can go spoil it for urself..

Then went to watch Sherlock Holmes last night wif Peter Li's group. Stupid msg ruined the movie halfway saying that the TER's out.. If any of u wondering, 87.45 so nothing wonderful. was hoping for at least a 90 TER though so sucks.. Seems like the entire world's getting 95 n above... only gd news to come out of this is that my Calc mark improved. Frm a 49 school mark till a 59 in the TEE. not bad eh?

Went to get a mouse with Justine before the movie. Her live squeak squeak mouse to clarify stuff. Not the kind u use to scroll the page and close this window.. Many names came up such as, PointandClick, Nezumi, Neckochan. But we decided to call it Elsie (LC). Coz its a mouse and LC= left click... heheehe. wanted to call the other Delsi, like... DLC for double left click but its now been changed to i dunno what..

Holidays have been going well.. Started with a to-do list on my whiteboard but its now all done :D stuff on there included reading all of the dragonball manga.. Tt's rite... all 520 chapters of it and also learning to play the bass.. Rather fun instrument to play actually..

Anyways, to clear up all this nonsense bout me going back. See, there's this paper on the wall which my dad printed for me specifying the dates i was meant to fly. 18th Dec was one date and seeing as all previous dates were correct, i found no reason to doubt it. Night b4 i was meant to fly, i was finding my ticket to see if i had bought the extra luggage thing to carry stuff for my aunt coz Tiger Airways is stupid and realised I HAD NO TICKET! turns out my dad only intended to book that flight but nvr actually got round to doing it. So now im here till the 8th of Jan.

Letter of doom has arrived and im reporting for NS on 5 March. I however have no idea whether i am coming back to Aus b4 then...

So that's the story of my life so far...

been ages since i've posted...

to think this is gonna be my last few months in school.. dun wanna end!!! dun wanna graduate! haha. some may think it's silly.. but meh, im weird like that. school life = easy life.. dun needa think much n get to have soooo many breaks..

back in singapore at the moment. how is it? good but hot n sweaty.. n the air here sucks.. seems more polluted than ever.. n since mum's here.. stuck studying too! haiz... all coz TEE's in a few months... more like.. 4 weeks or something silly like tt..

went to jurong library to study today. dunno why but cannot seem to concentrate. haha.. seems like i've gotten too used to studying with justine beside me :D keep wanting to do other stuff besides studying

wells... rossmoyne atmosphere has been bad recently, shocked with the sudden passing of minty. everyone's super emo. he was such a nice guy too! this sudden event made me reflect upon life too! makes me sound like some old man though.. haha.. oh how short life is.. like a blade of grass, we are here one day and gone the next. makes me glad that i've found a friends to help me through the tough times.

first week of holis has been gd i guess. went out to play mahjong alot. wasnt the overall loser at all so it was GD!:D. also went to watch UP! wif trieu, angela, justine and fei. then went over to justine's to settle leavers stuff.. UP! was nice.. pixar = good. leave me and my cutesified cartoons alone and u have one happy joel.

pictures of mahjong on facebook when we went over to alvin's to play mahjong, after which we played wif lanterns! woot! been super long since we played wif lanterns. haha.. was scared about some of the lanterns burning down the tree coz the candles in them were a bit wobbly.. cool thing was that we discovered the camera in the iphone's pretty good at night.

anyways.. great news! 55/60 for the recent calc test. best score all yr.. ahaha
realized ive been pronouncing cucumber as CHEW-cumber instead of q-cumber... 17 yrs of my life n NO ONE in my family has bothered to correct me. haiz...

n for everyone else who is super slow... justine n i r NOT going out.. no matter the rumours, we r not n we didnt break up for each other... it was juz all pretend n wasnt meant to spill over to so many people. intended targets were juz our grp.

week 3 of school now.. only round 7 more weeks of high school life left... sads.. dun wanna leave school!!
